This page is the wiki hub, not the homepage. Every guide on the site is listed here. The homepage (/en) only covers release date, price, platforms and system requirements — if you came here looking for a walkthrough, a vehicle list, unlock dates, cargo data or a bug fix, use the index below.

Quick answer: This is the fan-made Transport Fever 3 Wiki at transportfever3.net, covering the released game (launched September 29, 2026). It is not the official wiki and is not affiliated with Urban Games or Paradox. It covers the vehicle roster, the 36 official cargo types, 32 industries and production chains, trains and signals, stations and infrastructure, mods on mod.io, multiplayer status and troubleshooting. Every page states its sources and the date its data was last checked; anything Urban Games has not published is marked unverified instead of guessed.

Current game version: stable build 40425 (October 24, 2026), with preview builds 40427–40428 on Steam's preview branch. Release notes are tracked on Performance & Troubleshooting.

What this wiki has verified

These are the questions the hub is built around. Each answer links to the page that carries the full evidence table.

QuestionAnswer on this wikiEvidence levelPage
When did Transport Fever 3 release?September 29, 2026 on PC, Mac, Linux, PS5 and Xbox Series X|SOfficialRelease Date
How many vehicles are there?"275+" on Steam and "more than 300" in the Paradox press release and FAQ — both official, and both retainedOfficial (two figures)Vehicle List
How many cargo types are there?36 in the release-build manual, in four groups: 9 bulk, 5 liquid, 6 flatbed, 16 goods. The pre-launch Dev Blog said 37; the manual notes campaign missions use extra special cargo outside the standard listOfficialCargo List
How many industries are there?32 named industries in the official manual; Steam's store copy says "over 35 unique industries"Official (two figures)Industries
Can I see per-vehicle speed, capacity, cost or unlock year?Partly. The official manual publishes availability, power, top speed, weight, capacity and load speed for buses only (25 models). Cost, maintenance and the same stats for every other class are not publishedOfficial (partial)Vehicle Cost & Capacity · Unlock Years & Dates
When does each vehicle unlock?Buses have an official per-vehicle table (1892–2029). Trains, trucks, trams, ships and planes have no published per-vehicle table. Buildings are fully published: cargo station 1850, airfield 1920, airport and heliport 1950OfficialVehicle Unlock Years & Dates
Where do mods come from? The in-game Mod Hub built on mod.io, shared across Steam, EGS, GOG, PlayStation and Xbox. Steam Workshop is not usedOfficialMods
Does the game have multiplayer or co-op?No official mode — Urban Games describes TF3 as a single-player game. Community mods fill the gap: MPFever (co-op and competitive, public/dedicated servers, Steam version, experimental) and FeverLink3 (Windows, join codes). Both are unofficial and PC-onlyOfficial + CommunityMultiplayer
What changed in the latest patch?Stable build 40425 (Oct 24, 2026) fixes the Nvidia 621.01 crash on RTX 50-series GPUs; 40427–40428 are preview builds (Nov 2–3) with crash and performance fixes. The Second Stability Update was 40423 (Oct 22)Official release notesPerformance & Troubleshooting

How to read the evidence labels

Every data point on the site carries one of these labels:

  • Official — stated by Urban Games, Paradox, the Steam listing, the official Wiki or official patch notes.
  • In-game — checked directly in the release build.
  • Community — more than one independent community source agrees; used for leads, not for stats.
  • Unverified / not published — no reliable source. The page says so and stops there.

If a number is not on this scale, it does not appear as a fact on the site. Names-only rosters (for example the train list) are labelled Community because they come from the Collector's Edition artbook and fan transcriptions, not from an official table.

If something looks missing or out of date

  • A number changed after a patch — check the official release notes first, then the page's own "Sources & Verification" table. Pages carry the date they were last checked.
  • A page does not answer your question — the FAQ covers the short queries, and the Full page index below lists every guide by topic.
  • You want raw game data — the official modding manual documents vehicle classes, cargo functions and file formats. This wiki explains the game; it does not replace the manual.
  • A page lists a name you cannot find in-game — community-sourced names can differ from the shipped build. Those pages flag the risk instead of presenting the list as official.

Suggested reading order

For a new player, the site is designed to be read in this order:

  1. Beginner Guide — the five systems that decide whether your first line makes money
  2. Cargo List — what your vehicles will actually carry
  3. Vehicle List — which vehicle class matches that cargo
  4. Signals and Stations — once the first line works
  5. Production Chains — when you scale past one route
